Google Drive syncs your documents for offline use
Google’s cloud computing service is getting a bit better. So, starting today, you can sync all your documents and sheets to Google Drive automatically for offline use. But that’s not all because now, thanks to this update, Google Drive also allows you to create and edit your drawings offline. Features that within a few days will be available to all users of the service.
GOOGLE DRIVE AUTOMATICALLY SYNCHRONIZES YOUR DOCUMENTS FOR OFFLINE USE
In order to take advantage of the new synchronization features of, you don’t even need to update your Android application but simply activate offline mode on your account then:
- Go to the online storage service website
- In the left menu, select “More” then “Offline”
- Install the Chrome Web App player, if you haven’t already, then select “Offline”
Once you have enabled offline access, all you need to do is go to the Google Drive site to access your documents. Only small constraint, have the Chrome browser or possibly Chrome OS.
Note that some other minor features are also included. So now Google automatically transfers your Google+ profile picture and your discussion groups to Drive.
Profile pictures of users have become more and more important, given the interactivity and social functions they bring, these are now linked to Google, so it is possible to add a user to a circle directly from the Drive.
Finally, Google delivered new options for developers, including app data folders and the ability to add custom permissions to files.
